Why I’m running for reelection…

I’m running for reelection to continue delivering for East Honolulu. At a time when families are facing rising costs, safety concerns and a government that can move too slowly, steady and experienced leadership matters. My focus remains on listening to residents, following through and getting practical results for our community.

My Priorities:

  • Keeping East Honolulu Safe and Prepared
Public safety starts with safe neighborhoods, responsive government and attention to hazards before they become bigger problems. I have worked on flood mitigation, boulder mitigation and neighborhood safety projects across East Honolulu, and I will continue pushing for practical improvements that protect families, homes and public spaces.

  • Improving Roads, Traffic and Everyday Infrastructure
East Honolulu families depend on safe roads and reliable infrastructure every day. I have supported transportation improvements, including Kalanianaʻole Highway repaving and expanded Freeway Service Patrol coverage, and I will continue working on projects that improve mobility, reduce risks and make daily commutes safer.

  • Investing in Our Local Schools
Our schools are at the center of our communities. I have worked to support improvements at Kalani, Kaiser, ʻĀina Haina, Niu Valley, Wilson and Hahaʻione, including campus repairs, classroom improvements, athletic facilities and student support infrastructure. I will continue advocating for the resources our students, teachers and families need.

  • Experienced Leadership That Follows Through

Getting results at the State Capitol takes experience, relationships and persistence. Since 2010, I have worked to listen to residents, identify local needs and follow through on projects that matter. I am running for reelection to continue delivering steady, accessible and effective representation for East Honolulu.
